U.S.-designed Paramount series Deluxe acoustic instruments are finely crafted and specially voiced to bring your personal artistic vision to life. Each all-solid body serves up many legacy design elements of classic ’60s models, including checkerboard binding and rosette, unique pickguard shape, real bone nut, and abalone and mother-of-pearl "Concert Tone" fingerboard inlays. But alongside this characteristic art deco look, Paramount instruments still retain a foothold in thoroughly modern design. Exclusive Fender- and Fishman®-designed PM preamp systems are designed to each body shape in the series, ensuring complete tonal control and variation in any setting.
All Deluxe Paramount instruments are crafted from premium tone woods, including an East Indian rosewood back and sides for versatile frequency range with deep lows, shimmering highs and scooped mids, and a grade "A" Sitka spruce top. Equipped with quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing, the Deluxe parlor is dutifully designed with free vibration and natural resonance in mind. Each one also features a fast-playing, comfortable "C"-shaped mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, both of which are designed to accommodate the most demanding playing styles.
Known for its singing high-end and noteworthy articulation, the parlor guitar has experienced a booming resurgence in modern music, especially fingerstylists, folk guitarists and bluegrass enthusiasts. The smaller body in a classic sunburst finish delivers plenty of beloved, responsive parlor tone—a spunky instrument with plenty of visually striking Paramount personality.
